As a young child, Alina’s life was forever changed by a great teacher. When she was little, she wasn’t motivated to learn in a typical school setting.  However, her teacher held her to high expectations and worked to build her confidence until she realized she could do great things. Alina’s attitude quickly transformed and she became a very good student. When she graduated from university, Alina was asked to speak to her fellow graduates at commencement, one of the greatest honours a student can receive. She always believes that a great teacher can change lives for the better, and takes pride in watching her students gain confidence in her class.  Her experiences in teaching have inspired her to become the kind of teacher who inspires change, builds character, holds high standards, and creates motivated, creative, problem-solving youth.

She is a passionate, loving, and responsible teacher, who believes education should go beyond grades and students should have good life skills to become good citizens and life long learners.
