    Human Body Learning丨原来我们的身体这么神奇!

    For the first Unit of Investigation Who We Are, the Bilingual G1 kids spent six weeks learning about human body and roles of people.

    双语部一年级探究第一单元的学习结束了!这个单元的主题是“Who We Are 我们是谁”,通过六周的时间与老师同学们一起探究和学习,孩子们对自我身体有了清晰的认知,并且对自己角色身份的转化有了深刻的感受。

    Who We Are 我们是谁

    Central Idea 中心思想:

    Learn about our body and the changes of our roles.

    自我身体的认知及角色的转化。

    Lines of Inquiry 探究主线:

    Learn about our body and take care of ourselves; How the body parts work together; Get to know the change of our roles and how to adapt to it.

    认识自己的身体各部分并爱护它们;身体各部位如何协同工作;角色的转变及适应。


    When entering grade one, the kids knew little about human body and they didn’t really understand what the role of primary students was about. Driven by curiosity and questions, students started to explore the structure of a human being together with the teachers. Brain, eyes, teeth, respiratory system, digestive system, circulatory system, skeletal system, these abstract concepts, which sounded boring to young children, were delivered through various fun ways including imaginative playing, maze adventure, experiment, competition and handwork.

    刚进入到一年级时,孩子们对于“人”这个个体的构造了解少之又少,对小学生这个身份的理解也是懵懵懂懂的。老师引导着孩子,孩子们也用自己的疑问带领着老师,从“人”这个个体的身体结构开始探索,大脑、眼睛、牙齿、呼吸系统、消化系统、循环系统、骨骼系统,这些个原本深奥枯燥的概念和课题,在我们的探究课上摇身一变,成为了让孩子们兴趣盎然的“创作畅想课、迷宫探险课、 实验课、趣味竞赛课、手工制作课”。


    Brain ❤ 神奇的大脑房子

    Our brain is an amazing organ. After learning about the structure and functions of a brain, the children used their imagination and drew their own Brain House.

    我们的大脑是一个神奇的存在,我们不仅认识了大脑的结构和它的功能,孩子们还展开了丰富的想象,用画笔将大脑变成一个温暖的房子,画出了住在房子里面的“你、我、他”。


    Teeth ❤ 有趣的牙齿知识

    “Which animal has the most teeth?” “How many teeth does your deskmate have?” “How many colors do your teeth have?” “What is happening on our Teeth Street?” “Is there really a bug inside a decayed tooth?” A lot of studies were done based on these questions. Moreover, we invited a dentist Dr. Hou to give the children a professional and interesting session about teeth from which the teachers were also benefiting much!

    “世界上牙齿最多的动物是什么?”“你的同桌有多少颗牙齿?”“你的牙齿有几种颜色的呢?”“牙齿大街上发生的新鲜事你听说了吗?”“虫牙里面真的有虫吗?”带着这一系列的问题,我们把牙齿的那些知识了解得清清楚楚。老师还请来了牙科医生侯博士给我们带来了专业又有趣味的牙科知识讲座,连老师都学到了之前不知道的牙科知识呢!


    Body System 多样的人体系统

    We held many interesting competitions to help students to learn the major systems of a human body: we had a vital capacity competition when learning the respiratory system; we made cute cartoon figures to personalize different digestive organs and put them together to understand the digestive system; we divided the classroom into areas to represent the human body and thus creating a maze for the children so they could know better the difference between systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation; students also made skeletons by cutting paper in skeletal system studies.

    我们在探究人体的几大主要系统时,开展了各种各样趣味横生的小竞技,比如“呼吸系统”,我们用纸巾进行了肺活量大比拼;在“消化系统”里,我们将各个消化器官分解成卡通小人,进行了拼图小竞赛;在“循环系统”里,我们在教室里划分出人体区域,孩子们通过走迷宫的方式区分清楚了“大循环(体循环)、小循环(肺循环)”;在“骨骼系统”里,各小组通过剪纸、拼接做出了各具特色的骨骼造型。


    Challenge 挑战人体器官模型板

    At the end of this Unit, teachers cut out some human body shaped pieces of cleaned cardboards for students whose job was to create a display of human body organs. They were divided into groups of five to use plasticine to shape different organs. You’re very welcome to check out all these works displayed currently in our G1 teaching area!

    最后,在结题阶段,老师找来了废弃的大纸板,进行清洁处理后,我们请一位同学来做模特,在老师的帮助下切割出一个人体的模型的模板,再接下来的工作就全权交给我们这些小能手了!我们分成五个小组(一组负责头部、二组负责心脏+肺、三组负责食道+胃+肝脏+胰腺、四组负责大肠+小肠、五组负责动脉静脉+手脚),在小组长的组织分工下,用橡皮泥打造出了我们心目中完美的人体器官模型板!现在我们的作品就张贴在我们一年级的教学区,欢迎大家来欣赏哦!


    The studies on human body raised the awareness of students on taking care of their bodies in a scientific way and caring for their lives. Having been grade-one students for more than one month, they learned a lot and made significant progress. Inquiry is a fun learning path full of possibilities.     通过对人的身体结构的这一系列探究,我们意识到要用科学的方法来爱护我们的身体,要关爱生命;经过一个多月一年级生活的完整体验,我们也从懵懂的幼儿园宝贝成长为了成熟懂事的小学生。探究,是一条充满了各种可能性的乐趣横生的学习之路,我们会兴趣盎然、孜孜不倦,亲爱的爸爸妈妈,请和我们一起携手探索这个世界吧!
