A story about Christmas
Winter concert is an event where participants perform talents of singing, dancing and acting. This year, on December 13th, WES community presented a grand musical to the audience – “How the Grinch stole Christmas”.
Values behind the celebration
The Grinch, who hates Christmas, becomes annoyed with the out-of-control Christmas festivities in Whoville, the town lying below his cave. He conspires to deprive the Who’s of their favorite holiday by sneaking into town on Christmas eve to steal everything associated with the holiday. In the end he learns that the spirit of Christmas goes much deeper than tinsel and toys. When he brings the sleigh back to Whoville, the Whos all forgive him for what he’s done and invite him to celebrate Christmas. We hope to pass the true spirit of the celebration to the students – love, caring and friendship.
A big success
No pain no gain. All the hard work paid off. Our teachers and students spent a lot of time preparing the script, the costumes and the props. Actors, dancers and choir from different sections and different grades gave a wonderful performance. Thanks to all the teachers, students and parents who have contributed to this show!
